Through the last couple months of my marathon training, I was experiencing soreness and tightness that came with all that pounding and general "meanness" to my body. Leandra is fantastic. She has incredible intuition when it comes to finding out what your body needs and has the training and technique to do what has to be done. I always feel like a new person after one of her massages. And she's a good listener: to your words and to your body. Also, she's always learning new stuff and applying it to her own personal style. I first saw Leandra when I was nursing my infant son
and my neck, arms and back were extremely tight and
sore. Leandra listened to my description of how I was
feeling and what things I liked or didn't like about
massage, and during the next 90 minutes she also made sure that I was comfortable, relaxed, and happy with the amount of pressure. What I most enjoyed was that Leandra didn't need to frequently ask me how things were feeling-- she simply knew exactly what to do to help with the problems I'd mentioned to her, and the
whole experience was wonderful.
I've seen her several times since, and I'd highly recommend her work. She has a very calming presence and touch, and is excellent at both standard massage and other techniques (I particularly enjoy the hot stone
massage). After 90 minutes with her, I always feel
looser and more relaxed and her fees are extremely
reasonable. There are a lot of massage therapists in
Seattle, and I've seen several of them, but Leandra is
my favorite.

Leandra has worked with me to eliminate specific injuries in my shoulder. My treatments with her have not only relieved pain, but regained mobility where I was deficient. Not to mention all of the relaxation benefits. My thanks to her practice are endless.
