acupressure (jin shin do, jin shin tara)
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese technique based on the principles of accupuncture, and involves the use of finger pressure (without the needles) on specific points along the body. It is is a way of accessing and releasing blocked or congested energy centres in the body.
Acupressure massage therapy stimulates and activates the body’s own energies to help fight illness and restore harmony. Some of the acupressure points are significant as they relate to a specific part of the body while others are more general in their effect. Various ailments such as tension and stress, aches and pains, arthritis or menstrual cramps can be alleviated. Acupressure can also be used for general preventative health care.
Jin shin do focuses on flows for physical relief while jin shin tara works with the emotional body.
Jin shin tara is proving to be a highly effective post soul-retrieval integration modality as it helps integrate the intellect and emotions with the spirit.
cranial sacral therapy
Cranio-sacral work is both an intuitive healing art and a scientific form of therapy. It is the most subtle hands-on therapy there is. The masterful application of cranio-sacral work requires that I commit to years of in-depth study of the human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and dedicated hands-on training, as well as the development of intuition, sensitive hands, and inner stillness.
In this healing art, you (the client) and I listen carefully to the expression of the your body, its comfort and discomfort and its needs. This listening is done through the use of different cranial techniques—involving my hands, my mind, and most all of my heart.
Through this skillful listening, your body relaxes and is able to let go of tension and pain. Once this is achieved, your emotions are able to surface, to be heard, and then to relax. With continued listening, your soul will start to express itself and this is where the deepest level of healing can occur. It is in this safe and open space that your life's experiences will make sense, joy will arise, and the future will come into clearer focus.

reiki
Reiki is one of the more widely known forms of energy healing. energy healing involves direct application of Chi for the purpose of strengthening the clients energy system . Chi is the term used by the Chinese mystics and martial artists to describe the underlying energy of which the Universe consists.
Reiki is a Japanese form of healing. Reiki involves the transfer of energy or 'chi' from practitioner to patient to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy. Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonise. Unlike other healing therapies based on the premise of a human energy field, Reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced. In Reiki the healer places the hands above the recipient, the recipient draws the energy as needed.
shamanic healing
In the context of my practice, I use shamanic healing techniques such as extraction, clearings and soul retrievals.
Extraction and clearings are used remove misplaced energies that have not resolved themselves. These congestions are usually held during stress or injury, and need some focused attention release--much like a cramped muscle but held in the emotional body. I work with the client using visualization and breathing techniques to balance and restore the nervous/emotional system to health.
Soul retrievals are a more involved ceremony facilitating the return of 'soul parts' . In American-ese these are parts of ourselves that have shut down when life or situations became too overwhelming to cope. The cermony involves a journey within the universal subconcious to attain insights, tools and archetypal healing for the client.
The shamanic model views most imbalances to be a result of power loss, soul loss, or energetic interference. Soul or power loss is usually due to some kind of trauma, including surgery, accidents and abusive situations.
Modern day Shamans consider addiction, chronic fatigue, depression, and other illnesses to be a result of soul loss. In contemporary terms, soul loss is comparable to arrested development in parts of the psyche. It is also similar to the situations that are addressed with “inner child” therapy methods.
Shamanic techniques have proven to be a powerful and effective way of dealing with issues of power loss at the heart of most mental, emotional, and physical ailments.
